Mitten Memories: Fall Break Dump 2023

We had the best little getaway in Michigan last week. Lake had the honor of being the ring bearer in Keegan and Sabrina’s wedding. He did SUCH a good job and was sooooooo excited to wear his tux. Roan and Lake both danced the night away at the reception!

We got to Petoskey a little early, so we ventured out to a light house and Lake was very interested in learning about buoys. We spent one night in Mackinaw City and another in Charlevoix, before heading over to Mackinac Island for a quick visit on our last day. Roan was obsessed with the “Neigh Neighs” on the island and both enjoyed the boat ride.

We are so thankful that we were included in such a special wedding and that we got to experience it together as a family. I am absolutely exhausted but continue to smile as a watch videos of my kids tearing up the dance floor over and over again.
