    NAM Nationals Fashion Round-Up

    I am still feeling incredibly thankful for the opportunity to sit on the judges panel at National American Miss nationals last week. My mom and I both spent Thursday-Sunday meeting remarkable young women from across the country. Ages 4-24, these competitors showcased talent, modeling, public speaking, and onstage presentation skills. Over 600 girls made their way to Orlando, Florida to compete for the national titles in the NAM and All-American divisions. I’ll never forget when I heard Nicole call my name on that stage announcing me as Mrs. Indiana 2016. It would be a waste of my time as Mrs. Indiana to NOT share more about pageants, so that those who feel so negatively about them can learn about it from a source outside of a movie or fake reality television show.
