Every day, wherever I go, I am a teacher. I am a teacher in my classroom with my high school students, I am a teacher at home with my son, and I am a teacher on the sideline with my athletes. I think right now it can feel overwhelming to find a meaningful way to go beyond posting a black square and actually do the work required of all of us to end racism and show support of, acceptance of, and love for, the Black community. For me personally, I feel that teaching is my way of helping. I feel it is my duty to try harder to raise children…
