Every day, wherever I go, I am a teacher. I am a teacher in my classroom with my high school students, I am a teacher at home with my son, and I am a teacher on the sideline with my athletes. I think right now it can feel overwhelming to find a meaningful way to go beyond posting a black square and actually do the work required of all of us to end racism and show support of, acceptance of, and love for, the Black community. Best of Baby Gear: My Favorite baby items
Favorite burp rags and bibs: Copper Pearl brand for both- Quality material, stands up in the wash, soft, thick, and absorbent. Plus, I like bandanna bibs best in terms of shape and fit and Copper Pearl’s products are adorable. Favorite lotions and soaps/shampoos: Aveeno and Burt’s Bees products are wonderful smells and nice on baby’s skin. The lavender products make for a good bedtime wind-down vibe. Favorite diaper rash product: Aquaphor is good for this use, but also for rough patches on baby’s skin or rashes. It is a multi-use thing you’ll get great use out of all the time. Mom Appreciation Post
Thank you to my mom. She is my supporter, manager, editor, friend, cheerleader, stylist, and photographer. She is the Lorelai to my Rory, minus all the annoying speed-talking. I am thankful for her and I know that I don’t always show it. Often, we take our anger or frustrations out on our moms because we know that even when we are jerks, they still have to love us.
